Uhm.. Friggen OUCH!
So, I'm redecorating my entire pad and I decided to put a troublesome lamp on my new night stand. The reason for this lamp being a pain in the butt is that you have to bend the wire for it to turn on.. Very weird, but I delt with it because it's an antique. Anywho, I was messing around with the wire trying to get it to turn on when my whole room light up with a "POP!" A flash light came from the base of the wire and I felt a jolt run though me. 3 seconds later I realize the wire of the lamp is broken and is seperated from the plug. I take out the plug and put the lamp down. I felt a little queezy because of a smell and thats when I realize my thumb and forefinger that held the plug while I messed with the wire were litterly burt to a chrisp. Thats where the smell was coming from. The picture are hard to see but you can see how "well done" some parts are.
The remains of the lamp's plug and a glimpse of my fingers
Mmm, smokie links.
Well done.
Moral of the story... Don't mess with anything electrical. If it's acting funny, thats usually the first sign that your going to end up like me with cooked callis. I'll be peeling for days.

Mmm, smells like chicken.
Ouch, that sucks, old antiques are prone to that sort of thing.

Is that a collection of Xbox games or a series of very thin books on the top shelf?

Smells like Jimmy Dean. I've been soaking the marks and they don't hurt that much anymore, but they look pretty ugly.

Lol and what's America's voltage?
Try doing it here. When I washed the walls of the bathroom at the cattery where I used to work, I got electrocuted through the lightswitch.. twice.
Well, I wanted to see if it did it again.

Zomg! I saw a crazy lady washing a socket with water and she literally poured water on and into the socket and scrubbed at it. Then a few minutes later I saw someone using it. Yes I did tell her she was crazy. *shudder* just brought that memory back.
